ENGAGEMENT PHOTO/VIDEO SESSION
Engagement Sessions are a great way to break the ice with couple's and at the same time create some beautiful memories. The shoot takes place a few months prior to the wedding. Guest books and Enlargements can then be created from your session if requested.
CAN WE CUSTOMIZE PACKAGES?
TOTALLY! Custom packages does not mean the packages would be cheaper as compared to pre-built packages. If you are on a budget but are super adamant on having us on your wedding day, get in touch with us and we will do our best to customize something that works for everyone.
OUR EDITING STYLE?
Our editing style for photography consists of warm, subtle tones projecting colorful images. We also love the feel of black and white images as they completely change the aura of a photograph. Our editing style for cinematography is to keep the colors bright and punchy, exactly how you see everything on your wedding day.
DELIVERY TIME FRAME FOR MY WEDDING PHOTOS & VIDEOS?
The post production process can take anywhere between (6-8 weeks for photos) and (8-12 weeks for video) based on season. Once the editing is complete we will provide you with a link to a online gallery where you can download you photos and videos.
HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE DO I REQUIRE FOR MY ENGAGEMENT/WEDDING?
Wedding coverage is determined based on the type of wedding and the number of events you are planning. Engagement coverage can average anywhere between 3-6 hours of coverage.
Nikkah: 2-3 Hours
Mehndi: 4-6 Hours
Wedding (getting ready, photoshoot, until the ruksati): 8-12 Hours
Reception: 4-6 Hours
Christian / Catholic Wedding:-
Wedding (getting ready, photoshoot): 6-8 Hours
Reception: 6-8 Hours
Pre Wedding Events: 2-3 Hours
Wedding: 10-12 Hours
Reception: 6-8 Hours
Our Wedding Collections are designed to meet your needs in the best possible way. Our 14 hour Collection (PAPER) is our most popular one. If you require more or less hours than provided in our collections, do get in touch with us.
HOW CAN I BOOK?
The first step is to send us an email; [email protected] with your wedding dates and venues. Once we check for our availability we will be happy to setup a time to meet or speak over the phone. If we are a good fit for each other, a contract will be created and sent to you online to be signed with a retainer to secure your date.
I DON'T POSE WELL, BUT LOVE CANDIDS! CAN WE DO A BIT OF BOTH?
DEFINITELY!. Its your big day and we are happy to be a part of it. Candid photos are about having fun. Its about capturing your emotions and behavioursin a natural environment. Our couples love our work because they can relate themselves to the feelings captured in the images we show off. We do offer a mix of posed and candid photography.
DO WE HAVE TO COME IN PERSON FOR A CONSULTATION?
It is defintely a great idea to meet in person, to make sure we are both a good fit for each other. A face to face meet gives us an opportunity to converse about you as a couple and your events to come. We are very much open to the idea of video chat or phone for our couple’s who are overseas or not able to make it in person. We offer flexible hours for your convenience.
RAW IMAGES & VIDEOS
You will receive way too many images from your events, more than you can possibly go through. These images are in high resolution and are print ready. Raw videos are a set of thousands of files that we go through to put together for you with the selection of your songs. The only reason you would want the RAW images and videos is if you want to edit them yourself and to that I say that it is important to choose a vendor whose editing style you already like. Contact us if you are interested in purchasing the raw files.
LOCATIONS FOR PHOTO & VIDEO
Over the years we have put together a list of beautiful locations for photography on your big day. Most of these SCENIC locations require a permit, so make sure you factor in the cost of permits in your wedding budget if you are opting for one of these locations. HOW DO YOU MAKE THE ALBUM?
Using the web link of images, our clients create an account on our website. The selection of images is added to their favourites, which is then sent to us (the photographer). Once we receive the images we will begin designing the album. If you wish to proof your album prior to print, a proofing fee of $75 per session will apply. From our experience, almost every client has opted for no change to the design of their album, as it saves the client time and money.
DELIVERABLES FOR PHOTO & VIDEO
We include all the usable images, removing images that are blurry or not up to par. We cull through all your photographs and deliver anywhere between 40-60 images per hour of shooting. For an 8-hour wedding day you can expect anywhere between 350 – 500. You will receive a highlight and a documentary video for your wedding as well depending on the package you choose. We provide you with a glimpse of pictures from your events within the first two weeks.
CAN I POST MY IMAGES ONLINE?
Certainly! We are always pleased to see our clients love their images so much to want to share them online. When doing so, please provide photo credit to SEVEN SKIES STUDIO. We humbly request you to refrain from applying any Instagram filters, or cropping the images.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO NOT HAVE MY IMAGES POSTED ONLINE?
We appreciate and value your wish for confidentiality. We wantto ensure that our clients understand that in order for us to obtain business from future clients, we must have a collection of work to show; the same way you looked at our collection to choose us, future clients will do the same. The more work we demonstrate; the more attraction we will attain. If you wish for your images to remain out of our online portfolio, please contact us to discuss options.
